Lesson Payment

Please pay for the month in advance. Cash is appreciated. Checks are okay.

Missed Lessons

I am happy to reschedule lessons to accommodate anticipated absences. Please inform me of any anticipated absence at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. This allows me enough time to offer the lesson time to another student for a make-up lesson. Lessons canceled after 9:00am the day of the lesson will be charged and will not be made up. Lessons that I miss or that fall on holidays will be made up. I much prefer to reschedule a lesson than to miss a week. Continuity is important for vocal growth.

Supplies

Please bring a three ring binder to your lessons for keeping notes and music organized. I will provide you with staff paper on which we will write down all of your vocal exercises and the things you want to remember while practicing them at home. It is important to remember to bring your notebook to all your lessons so that we can be consistent with your exercises. I have a lot of music in my library that we may draw from for your repertoire. I am also happy to download music of your choosing if I don’t already own it. In that case, I will need you to reimburse me for the cost of the music.

No Stink!

Please do not wear perfume, cologne, scented lotions or hair sprays on the day of your lesson. Many of my students (including myself) are sensitive to smells lingering in the air, and in voice lessons we all need to feel comfortable breathing deeply!
